Blueberry, Almond Butter and Cinnamon Smoothie

Smoothies are great to incorporate into your diet because it’s an easy way to pack a lot nutritious ingredients in one meal! When you blend your ingredients, the blender does all the work for your, breaking down the food making it much easier for your body to digest and absorb. This is one of my favorite, go-to smoothies that never gets old!

Ingredients

1 Frozen Banana (add a bit of ice if the banana isn't frozen)

1 handful of strawberries

Large handful of Blueberries

A slice of apple

Handful of frozen spinach or kale (or greens of your choice)

Heaping TBS of Almond butter

1 TBS Maple Syrup or 3 dates

1/2 a TBS of Cinnamon

A sprinkle of ground flax

And of course @threetreesfoods nutmilk of your choice (original, unsweetened vanilla or pistachio would be great!)

Pro Tip: Less liquid is more when you're making a smoothie.
You can always add in more almondmilk but you can't take it back, out so start with less!)

Directions

Add all your ingredients in first and then pour the almond milk in last. Blend it until smoothie and viola! And if you want it to be a smoothie bowl, add in more banana and use less almond milk.

Blueberry, Almond Butter and Cinnamon Smoothie
