Black Sesame Milk with
Sweet Coffee Jelly

    • Yield: 1 serving

    • 3/4 cup water

    • 1 Tablespoon maple syrup, date syrup, or agave

    • 3⁄4 teaspoon agar powder (not agar flakes)

    • 1⁄4 cup espresso

    • Three Trees Black Sesame Nut and Seedmilk

  • In a small saucepan, combine the water, syrup, and agar powder.

Over medium heat, bring the mixture to a simmer while stirring to dissolve the agar powder.

Simmer for 1-2 minutes, then remove from heat. Pour the espresso into the saucepan and stir to combine.

Transfer the agar mixture into a small container. Refrigerate for 1-2 hours, or until firm.

Slice the jelly into cubes. They should easily unmould from the container.

To serve, place 1⁄2 cup of coffee jelly cubes into a serving glass, and top with Black Sesame milk.
